How do I use My library

Learn how to sign in to save your favourite units, all in one place

Introduction

My library is your personal space on Oak to save and organise the content that matters most to you.

With my library, you can:

  •  Save units and content you want to revisit
  •  Quickly access lessons you use often
  •  Access anytime, anywhere – from any device

Whether you're preparing for tomorrow’s lesson or planning for the term ahead, my library keeps everything in one easy-to-find place — so you can spend less time searching, and have more time for the planning, adapting and thinking that really supports your pupils.

How do I sign up to use My library

You'll see the Save units button on any unit listing page or individual unit page of our teaching resources.

Step 1

Start by looking at our resources and choosing the unit you want to save. Then press the Save button.

Click the Sign up button when prompted

Step 3

You can choose to sign up via single sign-on (Click the Google or Microsoft button), or by entering your email address.

Step 4

If you enter you email address you'll be sent a verification email. Check your emails to verify you want to sign up to download.

You will need to verify your email address on the same device and browser you originally used to start downloading the full unit.

Step 4

Once sign up is completed, you'll be taken back to your unit page. Press Save again and your units will be automatically saved in My library.

How can I see what is in My library 

To access My library, go to the header on any page and select the bookmark button. The button will show you how many units you have saved.

Once in My library, you'll see a list of the units you have saved including the subject and key stage. Simply click the unit name or an individual lesson link to get to where you need fast.

If you want to remove any saved items from My library, select the Saved button. 

Our resources will always be free so you don't have to worry about being charged.

FAQs

What happens if I want to save resources in My library again?

Once signed in, you will stay logged in on your device for 7 days. After this you will need to sign in again to access My library again.

Why can't I verify my email address?

You may get an error message when you try and verify your email address. This is usually because you are using a different device and/or browser to verify your email address than the one you start the download journey on.
