Troubleshooting for problems using Oak with Google Classroom
If you are having issues accessing Oak content through your Google Classroom, it is likely that your school does not allow users to receive files from outside of its domain.
To fix this, you’ll need to get in touch with your school’s Google Workplace (formerly G Suite) admin, or in some cases the request will need to go to a third party.
If you are the admin, you will need to grant permissions in the ‘sharing options’ settings as seen in the screenshot below, and either:
- Check the box to allow users to receive files from users outside of your school, or
- Allow-list the domain ‘thenational.academy’
